Great News from the California Association of Realtors directors meeting in Sacramento last weekend. Finally a state wide MLS has been approved. This is terrific news for both Realtors and clients like you. It will allow us to look at any region in California for available properties and those that have sold. We will be able to help clients that are relocating outside of our work areas to help them see the available market before they get there, we will be able to help clients pick an experienced agent in the new area. It will also benefit us most in areas like Mendocino and Lake Counties where we are close enough to service areas like inland Mendocino, the coast and Lake county but there are three different MLSs to be a part of. I am really excited for this MLS merge and can’t wait for it to be up and running.

That is great news for several reasons. It’s good for the prospective buyer because, like you said, it gives them a chance to see the market in advance. It’s also good for talented agents that know how to utilize the internet to make a good first impression with people that are searching online.
